It's been two months since I began running. What from, you ask?
I've been running from the man with the black, unblinking eyes and crooked, torn smile.
He's been hunting me in my dreams, in every waking moment. I've only been able to sleep for minutes at a time, and I fear that my days are limited. The only weapon on me is a hatchet, which is useful for nights in the woods.
The woods.
Another figure stalks me in the woods. Not this smiling man, but a taller figure. He haunts me when I traverse woodland, unlike the smiling man.

This night was like the others: cold, rainy, and not good conditions for firebuilding. Again, I was in the dark, at night, my eyes straining to stay open. "Dammit Jack," I said to myself. "You had one job, to protect your cousin, now look at him." I knew the identity of the smiling man. He once was my cousin, Jeff. My job was to protect him from bullies, but then he went and killed his family, cut off his eyelids, and tore his mouth into an eternal smile.
My cousin is out to kill me because I failed him.
This tall man, though, I have no idea who he is. Hell, he doesn't even have a face to read. I stood up in the rain and turned around. Sure enough, the tall man was behind me. "Bastard," I whispered, staring up at him. I grabbed my hatchet and he grabbed my arm. Not with his arm, but a long black tendril. "I'm not afraid, you know," I chuckled and ripped my arm away. "I just don't want to become one of you."
I walked away from the tall man, picking up my hatchet. "I'm not going to be like you, or Jeff for that matter," I laughed, examining my hatchet.
"Oh but you will, Jack, you will," the tall man's eerie voice whispered. "In your dreams, Slendy!" I took off into the trees, leaving Slenderman behind me.
"That boy will never learn," his voice but a faint whisper now.

I ran until I reached the familiar city lights. By then it had stopped raining, though the smell of wet pavement lingered. "He'll never get me," I flipped up my hood and began walking. "He might not, but I will," I whirled around and saw Jeff leaning on a lamp post.
I sighed angrily and continued walking. Jeff ran up, grabbed my shoulder and turned me around. In one quick movement, his knife was glinting, and my eye was out.
I fell to the ground, clutching the empty black socket, noticing my black blood running out onto the sidewalk. "Damn you, Jeff!" I yelled, squinting up at him.
Jeff laughed maniacally and put out my other eye. I knew I was blind, yet I could see all the same.
"You'll be one of us, Jackey boy," Jeff chuckled and kicked me onto my back.
"One of us." He sliced my side open and took out one of my kidneys. "What should he be, uncle Slendy?" Jeff asked as Slendy walked up behind him. "Dad," I whimpered, a pool of my black blood forming steadily around me.
"Well, you went and did this," Slendy's voice was barely audible. "Eyeless Jack, my son, there was no other choice."
I blacked out as Slendy's tendrils wrapped around me and dragged me into the woods, Jeff following closely.

With a family like this, there isn't another choice but to become a murderer. I mean, look at Jeff; he's as well known as well known gets. The Slenderman, being my father, obviously wanted me to be like him, but as you can see, Jeff changed that. Since Jeff stole my kidney, and I can't exactly see, I've been trying to take other people's kidneys that might fit with my last one. People get pissed, but hey, I kinda want to live here.
That doesn't matter though. What matters is that they succeeded in transforming me.
I once was Jack, odd colored skin, Jack. Black veined Jack. I am no longer that child, but Eyeless Jack.
Another one of my boredom writings. Hope you guys like it! :)
